A Few Words from our President:

Hi everyone. Welcome to our website.  My name is Mark “the Shark” Woodland and I am President of the Villages Parrotheads Club.  We are a social club that prides itself on volunteering, helping others in the community and I am very proud of our members.  We get together almost every week for some live entertainment, charity events, and the friendship of each other.  We try to enjoy the tropical spirit lifestyle that Jimmy Buffett sings about as “We are the People Our Parents Warned Us About”.  Our motto is “Party with a Purpose” as we try to make the world a little better than we found it each day.   As we live in a retirement community, we are “Growing Older But Not Up”.  I am excited to say that we are – by far – the largest Parrot Head Club in the world, and as I say at each Phlocking, the best club I have ever been a member of.  And wow – do we have phun.

Each Month I write a short “President’s Corner” for our NEWSLETTER which briefly tells our members what happened last month and what is coming up this month.  There is lots of information. Visit the NEWSLETTER page to read more.
